Ray’s Sister Publishing was is owned and operated by songwriters and was established in 2001 as an intellectual copyright service company. In 2009 we evolved to a full service Publisher for the independent (unsigned) music artist and writer, who need just as much protection as major artists, if not more, for their creative works.  The publishing we handle, in a nutshell, is the ownership to the rights to a musical composition and we are experiencing a reemergence in the dawn of the new music era.  We handle PA (the underlying composition) & SA (the sound recording rights) Copyrights, Mechanical royalties (fee for use of the underlying composition), Performance royalties (the fee for the performance of the song in public, such as on radio or TV) & Synchronization royalties (when timed or linked visually such as in TV themes or movies). We partner with our writers as  individual song publishers and as publishing administrators, for those who have established their own companies but don’t want to handle the paperwork and nuts-n-bolts of their operation.  We also work closely with our Media division to provide web design and print media to help artists create a brand in the market place.
